Watercolor on Paper
Lousiana Watercolor Society (LWS) 36th International Show 2006
Honorable Mention
I enjoy painting this way to experiment new design ideas. Flat patterns help me simplify complex images. They enhance my visual design. I constantly experiment to improve my understanding of each working manner. Below are a few examples. I worked with tonal constrast, strokes, colors and textures.
My Recent Work : Year 2006
This is my recent work. I spent quite a bit of time working on the composition. I kind of like it. It was selected for Rhode Island Watercolor Society National Show 2006

Hi Woon Lam,
Marvin here. How are u doing in US?
I'm pretty busy with work and especially at home now as my wife just gave birth to our son, Javier.
Hope to resume painting in a few weeks time when we are more settled down. ;-)
Cheers,
Marvin
Hi,
Thanks for your comments.
I am working on my Master of Fine Art final project -- Huge Figurative Works. Meantime, I am finding time to work on watercolor too.
Hopefully, I will have more nice watercolors to show when I am back in Singapore.
Best regards,
Woon Lam
Hi Everyone,
I have just added one watercolor I did in Nov 2006.
It is Trinity Church at Wall Street. I like the mode of the place. It looks charm and peaceful though it is opposite the busy New York Stock Exchange.
Best regards,
Woon Lam
